The BJP has won the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to return as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Courtesy: Election Commission of IndiaAt about 7.30 p.m, the latest figures released by the Election Commission of India showed that out of the total 403 constituencies, the BJP was seen leading in 252 seats, Samajwadi Party in 114 seats, Apna dal (Soneylal) in 11 seats, RLD in 8 seats, Congress in 2 seats and the BSP in just 1 seat.

Amongst the star contenders, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was seen leading in Gorakhpur urban with 1,38,399 votes and Akhilesh Yadav who is contesting from Karhal constituency was seen leading with 1,47,237 votes with Prof S.P Baghel of the BJP securing 80455 votes.
