A reverse image search of the keyframes from the viral video led us to the original video (archived), uploaded on the YouTube channel “Prakhar ke Pravachan” on 27 December 2024, titled “Arvind Kejriwal’s First Podcast | @ArvindKejriwal.” The podcast covered topics like the upcoming 2025 Delhi assembly elections, healthcare, pollution, and the city’s future.
Upon closely examining the video, we found that at the 43:58 timestamp, Arvind Kejriwal states, “I have started to understand a bit of politics, Yamuna will not get me votes, but I will still clean Yamuna.” He made this remark in response to the host’s statement, which suggested that cleaning the Yamuna would make him unbeatable in Delhi, as people would see and appreciate the improvement, particularly the reduction of foam in the river.
To sum up, a clipped video of Arvind Kejriwal is shared claiming he admitted he won’t clean the Yamuna River as it won’t help him win the upcoming 2025 Delhi assembly elections.
